We are a British fashion brand who are dedicated to creating clothing that is customisable, from the style to the fit. We are passionate about making clothing that is unique. We want to create clothing that our customers truly love and will cherish for the rest of their lives. Clothing that is such high quality, that it will stand the test of time and can be handed down for generations.

The name 'Silhou', is derived from the word 'Silhouette'. We believe that this represents our passion for creating beautiful silhouettes for our customers, based on their unique figure.

Silhou was founded in May 2018. We are a brand owned by Amack Group Ltd. Company number: 8182478. Amack Group is a fashion company with a range of brands, all of which focus on creating the ultimate experience and product offering for our customers. Placing An Order

You can purchase directly through our website by visiting a product page, selecting the options and adding the product to your cart.

We accepts all major debit and credit cards. We also accept Paypal payments. 

We believe that clothing should be made to fit beautifully, therefore we offer customised sizing on all garments.

We have also specially developed a size chart, taking into account the way in which our garments are made. View our Size Chart.

At the top of our website there is a drop-down menu which will show you all of the currencies that you can view our products in.

All orders are processed in GBP (Great British Pound) / £, which is our currency in England.

Please be aware that prices will not be converted at the checkout. The order total will appear in GBP / £ and will be converted by your bank once the transaction has been processed. Your bank statement will show the transaction total in your local currency.

The Making of Your Order

We will begin making your items as soon as your order is complete and the payment has been received. It will take us approximately 10 days to make garments. More complicated garments will take more time. Following the final quality checks, we will wrap your order in our gift boxes and ship them out to you.

Jewellery will be made as soon as your order is complete. Jewellery can take between two and three weeks to make. 

Bespoke garments can take more than two weeks to make and complicated designs could take more than one month. We recommend that you Contact Us to get a quote and a production time frame for bespoke designs. 

VIP orders will begin to be made as soon as the order is complete and payment has been received. They will be jump the queue, to be made ahead of other orders, to ensure that you get order in time for your event. VIP services are charged at a premium price to reflect the pressured time frame. We are so sorry you wish to cancel your order. You will need to cancel your order within 5 hours of your order being placed in order to prevent our team making your order. If you contact our customer care team at hello@silhou.com they will be able to advise you on cancelation of orders.

Delivery

We ship to 80+ countries worldwide using DPD services. This is a secure and fully trackable service.

Our delivery time frames include the time that it takes for us to hand make the garments. 

We offer a high priority, VIP service to our most popular destinations; including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Although we always do our best to ensure all orders are delivered within the estimated time-frame, once your order is with our courier service, delivery times cannot be guaranteed. 

Jewellery can take up to two weeks to make, so please allow a longer time frame when ordering jewellery.

Once your order has processed for delivery, you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will include your unique tracking number and a direct link to how you can track your order.

Unfortunately we are not able to deliver to P.O. Box or Military addresses. Please contact hello@silhou.com for help and advice on this.

Customers are responsible for the payment of any relevant charges that are applicable to their country. These charges will be collected on delivery by DPD as a 'charge on delivery'.

Deliveries times will vary over Bank Holiday Weekends and UK Public Holidays. 

Due to our clothing being made to order, we will experience slight delays on posting orders out during busy holiday periods. We will notify any customers who may experience delays with their parcels. 

In order to ensure delivery for a specific date we recommend ordering as far in advance as possible. We also offer a VIP service which will ensure that your order is made and processed with priority handling. 

After My Purchase

We want your Silhou garments to last a lifetime. We have a few suggestions for how to care for your Silhou garments to ensure they last forever. Visit our Garment Care Guide.

Yes! We will do what we can to repair your garment for you. From new zips to turning up, taking in, letting out, re-lining, replacing trims and every sort of repair, our dress makers take exceptional pride in the quality of their work. We will be able to repair authentic Silhou garments free of charge, assuming the damage caused was through regular wear and tear and not created through excessive force or misuse. 

Contact Us for instructions on how to send your items back for repair.

If you have have ordered products from Silhou that need adjusting, we can adjust the fit and shape of the garments for you. This includes taking in the waist and sleeves, shortening the length or adjusting the straps. 

First adjustments will be free of charge (up to a value of £40) following an order. More complicated adjustments, including making the garments longer may incur costs. Our team will be happy to explain any potential costs to you. Contact Us.

Jewellery can't be adjusted.

We are very sorry to hear that you wish to return your item. Unfortunately we don't accept refunds on any of our products. This is due to every product being made to order based on your specifications.

In order to make sure that you are happy with your products, we offer a free initial alteration and adjustment on garment orders. This will allow us to adjust or alter the product to make sure it fits you perfectly and is exactly how you want it to be.

Unfortunately, we are unable to alter or adjust any jewellery products. 

We aren't able to offer exchanges for the same reasons listed above.

Sizing

We believe that clothing should be made to fit beautifully, therefore we offer customised sizing on all garments. 

Custom Sizes

Our whole collection can be custom made to your exact measurements. Simply add your Bust, Waist and Hip measurement to the 'Order Notes' section in the checkout process. We may be in touch with any questions regarding your sizing, otherwise we will simply make your garments to your measurements. 

Please take care to ensure that the measurements that you have taken are correct. Follow the 'How To Measure' guide below.

We can not make garments to fit based on weight or height details.

MEASURE YOURSELF AS FOLLOWS:

Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust. 

Waist: measure around the smallest part of your waistline. This is generally above the belly button and below rib cage.

Hips: Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your bottom.
